Our Founder

Late Mr. R. Ranga Rao B.Com, FCA (1943-2016)

Late Mr R Ranga Rao, the founder partner of the firm started his practice and the firm RRCo in the year 1967. He was a graduate in Bachelors of Commerce from the prestigious Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College, Chennai and Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and also a qualified Company Secretary.

He was a distinguished and active faculty member in The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) since 1968 and a visiting faculty member in various universities and colleges in India on Advanced Accountancy and Management Accounts. Fondly referred to as "Holding Company Ranga Rao" by the student fraternity for his holistic approach to one of the most complicated chapter on Consolidated Financial Statements in Accountancy.

During his 5 decades as a practicing Chartered Accountant, he had served the Central Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India as Co-opted member of committees and was a sought after person for suggestions on improvements to curriculum of Chartered Accountancy Course conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

He had established himself as a specialist consultant for Non Banking financial Institutions in India and had been sought out for solutions and recommendations by regulatory departments such as the Reserve Bank of India and Corporate Affairs.

In a career spanning with various award, accolades and recognitions, In August 2013 he was conferred an Excellence Award in Recognition of His Special Teaching Achievements by "The Society of Auditors" as part of their 80th year celebrations.

He is always fondly remembered and missed by clients of RRCo, for eye for details, deep knowledge and sense of business, firm on ethics and integrity and for being a guding force and Go to person for solutions to complex issues.
